Trotski Beer Label!

This is the beer label design I came up with for the Micro-Brewery known as the Potbelly Brewery. Since the name of the beer is called Trotski, I went with the Russian theme. You gotta love the idea of a Soviet Potbelly Pig.

Lil Iron Man Test Sheet!

A while ago I had an idea for a personal project, a little A-Z book of Super Heroes and Super Villains, mainly aimed at for kids and other comic nerds like myself.
Each character is to be drawn in a super-deformed style, so we're talking 'big head, small body' design here.
This is a test sheet for my 'Little Iron Man' design which will be used for the 'I is for Iron Man' page. This is just seeing how each armour looks. Still need to do the 'Energy Blasts', but I am digging the new Marvel NOW! Armour colours.

The Superior Spider-Man!

An old Spidey doodle finally finished! This little doodle is going in my little Doodle goodie pack which I'm giving away this Christmas. There are going to be a whole bunch of cool little things in there.
I always felt this Spidey doodle was missing something, but now, I feel it's complete. With the webs coming at you, it almost gives the doodle a 3D effect. Well, I did say, almost. Now, if you've been following Marvel's Amazing Spider-Man recently, you'll know the reason why I've change his costume from blue to black. Something happens to our favourite web-head that makes him go from Amazing to Superior...

Lil Dino!

ROAR! A little warm up sketch of a Lil Dino. I had a lot of fun just quickly doodling up this little fellow. If I have time, I might design a whole little Dino gang for him to hang around with.

Mini Magneto!

I like the movie 'X-Men: First Class', it turned Magneto into a bad ass. It even gave him an even more badass theme song. You can listen to that here:
http://youtu.be/puCZ4aQhg9c
So I decided to have fun with the character, turned him into Mini version and reversed his colour scheme on his costume. Don't know about you, but I like it. Reversing the colour scheme looks pretty bitchin'.

Life Girl Elite!

This Little Lifeguard Elite is here to make sure you swim save. For this doodle, I decided to go for more ultra cute than anything else. For my sins, I work at Leisure Centre and I can tell you for a fact, Lifeguards do not look anything like this. I have yet to see one smile.

Ultimate Spider-Man!

The new Ultimate Spider-Man, Miles Morales! I've always wanted to do a doodle of the new Ultimate Spider-Man, just because the costume is pretty damn awesome. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to do the red webs on the costumes. With a little bit of experimenting, I managed to figure it out. I also find it tough working with black costumes, because it's so easy to make them turn into a massive silhouette look. So it was a case of trying to find a grey tone that was dark enough to past off as black without hiding all the detail.

The Amazing Spider-Man!

I like the Spider-Man movie costume from the 2012 Amazing Spider-Man movie. In fact, I like it so much, it inspired to tweak it even further and create this doodle. Well, half the fun of Comic Book characters is being able to play around with the designs.

Iron Tech Problems!

Someone's having a little Tech problem. This is a light-hearted sketch of Tony Stark having some problems with his Iron Man armour. Just a little bit of fun with the dip pen and ink.

The Amazing Spider-Boy!

The Amazing Spider-Boy swings again! Ages ago, Marvel Comics did a bunch of mini-series based in Marvel's own Manga-verse. Marvel's Manga-verse was basically Marvel characters done in a Japanese Manga style. One of my favourite Marvel Manga-verse characters was Spider-Man, but this was mainly because of the artistic force behind it. Kaare Andrews did the first Manga-verse Spider-Man story, then Skottie Young followed it with two more stories. Who could not love Spider-Boy after reading three stories by those guys?!?

Ultimate Iron Man Flies Again!

Every now and again, I like to revisit old doodles I'v done and recolour them in. This time, I've decided to re-do my old Ultimate Iron Man doodle. Gave the armour a new lick of paint and used a new photo of New York for the background. I'm quite with how the background looks, makes it looks like old Shell Head is flying high above old NY.

The Technology Goddess!

The Technology Goddess! This is a commission I did for Northampton University a while ago. Basically, I was contacted by the Uni to come up with an image that shows all the different devices you can use in the library. After sketching up a few ideas of different people researching in different ways, I had a brainwave (doesn't happen very often) and decided to have one person holding onto all the devices in a Hindu Goddess way. So the ways of technology and the ways of the spiritual meet.
I was quite pleased with the way this doodle turned out and, more importantly, so was Northampton University.
With Apple being the fashionable gadget to use these days, I decided to use quite a few of them for this doodle. Sadly, I didn't get a back hand from Apple for this. Oh well, maybe next time.

Space Boys!

This is a commission I did for my cousin. He asked me to draw a doodle for his nephews' first Birthday. That's the kinda thing you can't really say no to. However, with his nephews being twins, it allowed me to have some fun with the doodle. With them both loving Space stuff, the idea of making them little Space Boys was an easy one. Also, rocket packs are cool, admit it, when we were kids, we all wanted rocket packs.
A fun little idea I did with the doodle was so you could view it upside down and it would still appear the right way up. So if you flip the doodle, it still would be right way up. This way no twin is the favourite twin.

Robo Girl Smashes Tokyo!

We all have that one friend that has a rage, that could destroy downtown Tokyo. Well, this one is mine. Do not cross her, like the Hulk, she likes to smash.

How To Do A Standing Squat!

A doodle of 'How To Do A Standing Squat.' Just have to put the key points on and it's ready to go in my Exercise Note Book project. That blue thing she's holding is a Medicine Ball, by the way.
You get points if you can tell me why is a Medicine Ball called a Medicine Ball?
